Song Title: Take my scars
Artist: Machine Head
Tabber: BIG Dan

----------------------------------------------
Ok, this is written for a five-string bass in standard tuning (BEADG) although I think Machine Head probably use a four-string which is strung up with the low strings from a five string. I.e. BEAD. This isn't the whole tab, but it is pretty close and is definatly in the right key.
Main riff:
------|------------------|-
------|.----------------.|-
------|.----------------.|-
------|------------------|-
--12\-|-0-2-1-0-22-1-0-1-|-
When the guitars kick in properly there's a fill every fourth time which goes like this.
------------------
------------------
------------------
-------/5555/6666-
-0-2-1------------
There's no bass in the pre-verse, although you can play a load of muted notes in time with the 'chansaw' guitar bit
Verse:
------------------------
------------------------
------------------------
------------------------
-1-0---0-1-0---0-1-0h3--
Chorus:
-----------------------
-----------------------
-----------------------
-----------------------
-6-5---0-6-5---0-6-5-3-
Post-chorus:
--------------------
--------------------
--------------------
--------------------
-3--------3---------
I'm not too sure about the scratchy bit, the rhythm is a bit dodgy.
------------------
------------------
------------------
------------------
-0000-0-00-00-000-
It's something like that anyway, just play B in time with the tune.
I don't know what to play during the solo, it could be the verse riff. That's what I use and it sounds OKish.
Final fill:
-----------------
-----------------
-----------------
-----------------
-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-
Enjoy.
If you've any comments or the like then email me. Don't bother telling me that the song's played in D just 'cause that's where you've always played it. It's in B and that's final.
